My Pilates Story —
2015: Certified in Mat Pilates from Pilates Academy International, New York City.
2016: Suffered two torn labrums in both hips.
Using the knowledge of bio-mechanics, anatomy, and Pilates fundamentals, I successfully healed my injury and emerged physically stronger. Pilates gave me the tools to take healing into my own hands, understanding that strengthening muscles plays an important role in the mental, emotional, and spiritual body, as well as the physical.
2019: Taught group Mat Pilates and Aerobics at Tone Studio and Breathe Strength Studio in Astoria, New York City.
2022: Moved to the Hudson Valley.
2025: In January ‘25, started teaching at Little Blueberryy, Saugerties, NY
Physical strength is one core aspect of health, but our emotional, spiritual, and mental health play an equally important role in the overall health of our physical form. I encourage the strengthening of all aspects for a holistic approach to feeling whole and well.
My classes start and end with a homecoming to the body, going inward to breathe, anchoring our time together with intention and praise for showing up for body-care. I guide my students to consciously stay connected to their proper posture while attempting to for that extra rep. Classes are equal parts mindful and effortful, and students report feeling physically, tonally leaner, and mentally stronger as they continue to show up for themselves and see results over time,
